Data Logger Telemetry
Our CP TcorrLoggers have been purpose designed inhouse by our CP technicians to suit industry requirements for live remotely logging CP potentials of sacrificial anode and impressed current systems. Utilising the latest trends in emerging IOT technology with low orbit nano satellites, Our data loggers are able to transmit data from all remote locations across the Globe. This new low powered technological advancement is proving to be a cheaper alternative and more cost effective than traditional methods of data communication via the (restrictive) mobile tower networks.
Optional – Utilising the latest trends in IOT with the low power LoRa (Chirp spread spectrum), this enables long-range transmissions with low power consumption and a safe 110mA output during transmission on the LoRaWAN protocol network or communication through the 3 or 4G networks. Bespoke installations available.
TcorrLoggers automatically log the following real-time CP telemetry metrics per channel. This allows for a multitude of Testpoint’s and channels:
- On potentials – mVolts
- Off potentials (Instant off to structure) – mVolts
- Anode potentials (Open circuit to anode) – mVolts
- Open circuit current – Amps
- 24 Hr pipe to soil potential (Stray current drainage) – Amps
- GPS co-ordinates
- TRU voltage and current output
Additional metrics tailored to suit client requirements such as ER corrosion coupon logging, conductivity, environmental conditions etc.
All CP telemetry metrics can be viewed via an analytics and interactive visualisation web application that provides a selection of charts, graphs, alerts etc or data can be synced to a file and utilised in other business software systems such as SCADA, SAP or Excel spreadsheets etc.
Integrated into our corrosion and coating asset integrity software TcorrSoft, we provide a cost effective and user friendly complete package for asset maintenance and extended serviceability of plant.
